St Kilda Football Club has a fantastic supporter base throughout Australia, and if you live in country Victoria or interstate there is a network of people just like you nearby who live for the red, white and black.

The Saints supporter network runs special events, holds regular meetings and assist in raising funds for Club development - plus they're a great way to build up your social network!

Bus Trips to Matches
We run a 46 seat coach equipped with reclinable seats, toilet and TV/DVD video. Departing from the Albury railway station and picking up at Wodonga Plaza / Centro Wodonga then Wangaratta, outside K Mart. We will also pickup from Barnawartha, Chiltern, Springhurst and other stops as required. We have a meal break at Avenel and then straight to the TD or MCG, generally arriving 1 1/2 hours before the start of a game. We have fun and generally watch a footy game on the way to Melbourne and a movie on the way home. We run raffles and 1st goal competitions. We will be attending most home matches in 2009 (See regulations below).

2008 Mission
Our main objective is to provide family friendly, alcohol free, safe, reliable, comfortable and cost effective travel to Melbourne games, with same night return home.

Saints Get-togethers
We also have get togethers to watch games on TV and these are organised as needed. Watch for the 'bus ad' in the Border Mail for upcoming events.

Bus Regulations:
We do not allow smoking, alcohol or hot food to be consumed in the coach and have found that in 12 years of organising these trips this is the best option. There are many older people and families that appreciate these rules and it is in everyone's interest, especially as it can be a long trip home after a night game

Ballarat Saints Supporters Group Inc Review 2008

Thank you To Robert Harvey for persistence and dedication to the Saints for 21 years.

The best and fairest this week will provide another chance for many to say “Thank Harves”, enjoy if you are lucky enough to be going.

Ballarat Saints Supporter Group have been pleased to have taken over 900 supporters ( up from just over 800 in 2007) to Saints games throughout the year and as a result will again be in a position to Make Donations to Saints Based organizations, Including the Heritage museum.

At our AGM in August it was Thanks to Mel, Gail and Wendy for holding positions for 2007/2008

And Welcome to Heather Annand for taking on the presidency for 2008/2009 with Gail and Wendy again being returned as Secretary and treasurer.

Our thanks To Gold Bus company for their continued service and to the St Kilda Football club, in particular the Membership department for their assistance.

Thanks to the St Kilda Football team for continuing to provide a reason ( however frustrating) to go along each week. May the next game and the next year again show development and progress to getting that final goal.

We will be holding a get-together to discuss mainly how we are to organise the bus travel to the games at Telstra Dome for the coming season. The Bendigo Supporter Group is holding a meeting at the Rising Sun Hotel, Barnard Street Bendigo, on Tuesday, 20th March at 6pm to discuss the upcoming season. All new members and supporters are welcome to attend.

The Bendigo Supporter Group will be only running a bus to all HOME games at Ethiard Stadium.

Annual General Meeting

The Western Saints Inc will be holding their Annual General Meeting on the 28th Feb 2009 commencing at 2.30 pm at the Paddington Ale House, 141 Scarborough Beach Road Mount Hawthorn.

An election will be held for half the committee positions, one Vice President and three committee members. Nominations are invited from any financial member of the St Kilda Football Club and supported by one current financial member. Nominations must be received by the Returning Officer, Western Saints Inc, P.O. Box 555,Cottesloe WA 6911 by 5.00pm on the 30th January 2009.
