Nathan Burke

Nathan Burke

Director
Nathan’s first contact with the St Kilda Football Club was being selected by John Beveridge for the Nepean Under 15 school boys team in 1985. From there he progressed to a season in the now defunct U/19 Saints team and ended his association as a player 17 years later. Two years on the coaching staff offered him an insight into football from a non playing perspective and fueled his desire to understand team dynamics and culture on a higher level. Nathan began employment with industry leaders in culture and leadership, Mettle Group in late 2005. This experience in the corporate sector as a management consultant reignited a passion to make a positive impact on the Saints and led him to join the Board in late 2007. In this position Nathan aims to combine the knowledge gained from 21 consecutive years at Moorabbin with modern day management techniques so that we can attain the success we all desire.

"My mission with the Saints is to make it a place where past future and present supporters and players can feel welcome and importantly proud of the institution they are associated with," said Nathan.

Nathan is a life member of the St Kilda Football Club, the Australian Football League and the Monash University Sports Hall of Fame.
