Based in St Kilda Football Club’s bayside heartland, Linen House Centre is an elite training facility purpose-built for AFL football and since January 2011 it has been the home of the Saints.
The centre is situated in Seaford on the gateway to Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula and accommodates St Kilda’s state-of-the-art training, administration and community facilities.
The training facilities include a specially built pool designed for general lap swimming, shallow water walking and rehabilitation.
The gymnasium is fitted with sports science equipment and technology specifically designed to enhance athlete strength, endurance and recovery. A altitude room which accommodates treadmills, bikes and rowing machines also allows athletes to train at altitudes up to 3500 metres above sea level which increases performance.
The players train on an Etihad Stadium sized oval while a walking track and secondary oval provide flexibility for different high performance programs.
The centre also incorporates a basketball court which is used by community groups to complete their training after hours.
