Jeld-Wen Windows & Doors

A MESSAGE FROM BARRY HOMRIGHAUS, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER FOR JELD-WEN Inc

JELD-WEN is the name behind some of Australia’s best-loved brands.

And now it’s the name behind one of AFL’s oldest and best loved clubs.

We’re proud to be the Major Partner of the St Kilda Football Club and I would like to take this opportunity to share a few thoughts on our company, our future, and why we are inspired to partner with the Saints.

Starting as a small millwork plant in 1960, JELD-WEN has grown to become the world’s largest manufacturer of reliable windows and doors. We have extensive operations in our home in the United States, as well as in Australia, Asia, South America, Canada and Europe. In fact, our global team of employees is more than 20,000 strong.

Here in Australia, whilst some of you may not yet be familiar with our name, you will more than likely know the businesses that make up the JELD-WEN family.

Corinthian Doors and Stegbar are two of Australia’s most trusted and well known brands for home owners and builders alike. This is because for over 50 years they have been the leaders in the supply and manufacture of the country’s finest quality and most reliable windows, doors, showerscreens, wardrobes and mirrors.

Together with a world class glass processing plant located in Melbourne and the regional businesses of Regency Showerscreens (QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC & SA), Airlite Windows and Doors (NSW) and William Russell Doors (VIC), our operations are supported by a network of retail display centres, outlets and distributors across the country. I would encourage you to go to www.jeld-wen.com.au and see for yourselves the exciting and inspiring range of products we have to suit your life and your home.

JELD-WEN’s partnership with St Kilda is important because the players personify the key value of reliability that we hold dear. Every time the Saints take the field, they need to rely on their teammates to succeed. Proving our own reliability for real life is what we strive for at JELD-WEN.

The Saints have had a great 2009 season with only two losses to date and one round left till the finals we are sitting comfortably in first position on the ladder, a great morale boost for the players and a sure sign that the 2009 finals will see the Saints flying high.

Go Saints!

Regards,
Barry Homrighaus
