St Kilda Football Club staff has foregone the traditional Kris Kringle present this Christmas in support of purchasing Christmas gifts to assist the Club¹s charity partner, Challenge.

Challenge brings colour and relief to the lives of children and families living with cancer.  With an emphasis on fun, Challenge provides a range of practical services and therapies and a program of tailored experiences to focus on the good things in life.

"Challenge has been the Club's charity partner for more than 15 years and we thought it was appropriate to donate presents to the children and families who need them most," St Kilda staff member Kerry Hann said.

"Christmas is a very special time in most households across Australia, but for these families sometimes it can be a very difficult time of year."

St Kilda donated gifts such as toys and books for children of all ages to the charity to disperse one week before Christmas.

The Saints will be making this an annual Christmas fundraiser for all staff and players to participate in.
