ST KILDA has ruled itself out of the market for talented Richmond midfielder Dustin Martin.

Much speculation has surrounded Martin’s future after the Tigers released a statement on Monday announcing that he would pursue offers from other clubs.

The Saints have been one club linked to Martin in various reports surrounding the 22-year-old’s future but St Kilda Head of Football, Chris Pelchen has ruled out bringing him to Seaford.

“We are approaching the upcoming trade and draft period with a view to strategically building several aspects of our list but Dustin is not a part of any plans we have in place,” Pelchen told saints.com.au.

The bullocking Richmond midfielder has played 86 games in four years since he was drafted with pick three at the 2009 NAB AFL Draft and finished third in the Tigers’ best and fairest in 2011.
