Located on Robe Street in St Kilda, the Women’s House provides a safe and welcoming space for women seeking support for a range of issues. At the House, women can have a free meal, use the shower and laundry facilities, find companionship, participate in art therapy, gain respite from the street and obtain counselling, housing assistance and parenting advice.
For the last 11 years, the Light Up a Life party has been organised by the Sacred Heart Mission in conjunction with a committee of dedicated women: Tania Brougham, Katy Nottingham, Carolyn Clark, Lucy Hill, Sarah Conron, Teresa Liano, Marg Downey, Miche Bonett-Horton, Josie Kelly, Jane Turner, Melissa Doyle, Linda Slobom, Judy Buchan, Penelope Ward-Ambler, Karen Mitchell.
Along with great raffle prizes and auction items we have amazing jewelry for sale benefiting the Women's House by event supporter Misuzi.
