A LARGE number of free tickets are still available to games in Victoria and NSW for international passport holders ahead of the upcoming Multicultural Round.

More than 13,000 people from over 90 countries have registered under the 'My Passport to Australian Football' campaign, but thousands of free tickets still remain.

The AFL and Australia Post have invited more than 30,000 new arrivals to Australia to watch a game for free in round 18.

AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan said Australian Football had the power to bring people together regardless of background.

"This campaign is for all Australians and we also encourage fans of our game to invite a neighbour, friend or workmate who is culturally diverse and has never experienced the game to take up the ticket offer and enjoy the experience together," McLachlan said.

"The AFL is committed to reflecting Australia’s cultural diversity by providing an environment which welcomes people from all backgrounds to enjoy our game as supporters, players, umpires or administrators.”
