Key Players
• David Armitage has been in some ripping form of late for St Kilda, with the Saints’ midfielder averaging 24 disposals over his last seven games without once dropping below 20.  On top of this, Armitage has also booted six goals and averaged six clearances a game over this seven-week period.

• Billy Longer will conclude his first season as a Saint on Sunday with an impressive year in the ruck to show for it. After having to fight for a spot over the first six weeks of the season, Longer has managed to cement his position in the team and go on to play all bar one game since Round seven. Averaging 27.1 hit-outs a game, Longer’s year in the ruck has earned him a spot in the AFL’s 22under22 squad.

• Taylor Walker looms as Adelaide’s biggest threat on Sunday with the powerful forward back to dominant-best. Walker has booted 17 goals over the last five weeks while also averaging 15 disposals a game.

Take Note
• Lenny Hayes needs to lay eight tackles on Sunday to break ex-Swans champion Jude Bolton’s all-time record. Bolton currently holds the record with 1490 tackles over his 325-game career while Hayes sits second with 1483 over his 296 games.

• This match marks St Kilda’s first game at the newly re-developed Adelaide Oval against the Crows. The Saints will be hoping the new ground brings with it new luck, after recording just four wins from 17 games against the Crows at AAMI Stadium.
