The Saints Digital Rookie Mock Draft is here. This is our prediction on who goes where in todays AFL draft from pick 1 to 25.

1. St Kilda: Patrick McCartin: 193 cm, 95 kg. Strong marking forward who has all the qualities to become a big man of the competition. Accumulates goal scoring opportunities with ease.

2. Melbourne: Angus Brayshaw:  187cm, 86 kg. Ball Magnet who is strong in the contest.  Depicts captain type qualities.

3. Melbourne: Christian Petracca: 186 cm, 92 kg. Powerful and Strong mid/forward who can change games off his own boot. Answered the questions on his endurance with more midfield time this year and a high beep test result.  

4. GWS Giants: Jarrod Picket: 180cm, 76 kg. Fast and exciting runner who loves to take the game on. Player who fans will love to watch.

5. Collingwood: Jayden Laverde: 189cm, 82 kg. Versatility personified. Seen as a prototype big bodied midfielder of the future.

6. GWS Giants:  Hugh Goddard: 195cm, 92 kg. Key position player that is versatile between both ends of field positions. Cousin of Brendan Goddard, the former saint now Bomber.

7. GWS Giants: Jordan De Goey: 187 cm, 82 kg. Hard at it defender who has been identified as a premium mid of the future. Thrives in the contest but has outside skills to match.
8. Gold Coast: Jake Lever: 194 cm, 84 kg.  Knee reconstruction forced him not to play a game in 2014, but showed in is bottom-age season that he has the potential to be a standout tall.

9. Collingwood: Darcy Moore: 199 cm, 93 kg. Father/son selection. Began training already and is considered a top 5 talent if available on the open market.

10. Geelong: Peter Wright: 203cm 102 kg: Ruck/ forward who is arguably the most talked about player in terms of draft position. Wonderful long kick of the footy, with great accuracy.

11. West Coast: Liam Duggan: 183 cm 76 kg: Damaging left foot, accompanied with strong work ethic and never give up attitude.

12. Richmond: Paul Ahern: 181 cm, 77 kg. Clever and classy midfielder who takes the game on. Can make something out of nothing in the forward 50.

13. Fremantle: Sam Durdin: 198 cm, 87 kg: Played in the ruck, forward and in defensive for SA, with the later being considered where he is suited at AFL level.  Very mobile and flexible in positions he can play.

14. Adelaide: Caleb Marchbank: 192 cm, 85 kg. Versatile swingman who reads the game really well, and has safe hands to match in marking contests.

15. Gold Coast: Nakia Cockatoo: 185 cm, 86kg: Draft Bolter, who shone at the draft combine, which backed up his best on ground performance at the grand final curtain raiser. Big and strong midfielder.

16. North Melbourne Lachie Weller: 181cm, 77 kg: Skillful hard running outside mid who moves really well. Brother of Saints midfielder Mav.
17. Essendon: Corey Ellis: 185 cm, 76 kg: Great decision maker who seems to always be in the right spot. Accurate Kick.

18. Sydney: Isaac Heeney: 186cm, 82 kg: An academy selection for the Swan, meaning he is locked in at this pick. Great runner who takes the game on but also has a strong inside game to match. Considered a bargain at this pick.

19. Carlton: Kyle Langford:  190cm, 73 kg: A forward that has athleticism to burn. Great vertical leap and loves to jump, has potential to move to the midfield as he develops.

20. Essendon: Jarrod Gartlett: 180cm, 69 kg: Great mix of speed and endurance, who loves to bounce the ball and take the game on. Exciting talent.

21. St Kilda: Tom Lamb: 193cm, 84 kg: Has unique blend of skills that make his potential mind-blowing. Tested strongly at the Draft Combine with his endurance.

22. St Kilda: Touk Miller: 177cm, 80 kg: Captain of Vic Metro in the under 18 competition this year and is fantastic in contested situations. Desperate to get the ball out and going his teams’ way.

23. GWS Giants: Alex Neal-Bullen: 182 cm, 77kg: South Australian product who thrives in the contest. Has Senior experience at SANFL level while also being identified as having great leadership qualities.

24. GWS Giants: Jack Steele: 188cm, 85 kg: Was overlooked last year after a knee injury ruined his season. Came back strongly this year and showed his midfield capabilities. Is another academy selection and is locked in at this pick.

25. North Melbourne: Daniel Mackenzie: 183cm, 77kg: Tested really well at the combine and improved as the season went on this year. Midfielder who can do a bit of everything.
