ST KILDA has finalised its 12-man squad for Wednesday’s charity T20 cricket game against the Seaford Tigers.

Adam Schneider has been named captain of the team, while former ex-Tasmanian First Class cricketer Jamie Cox will be his deputy.

Schneider was a talented junior cricketer, while Cox played more Sheffield Shield games than any other player (161).

This will be the second annual cricket game to support Pink Stumps Day and the  McGrath Foundation.

“I’m really looking forward to pulling on the pads again alongside teammates, all in the name of charity,” Schneider told SAINTS.com.au.

“We plan to put on a good spectacle for the crowd and we hope to see lots of St Kilda supporters there cheering us on. It will be a great game.”

An entrance fee of a gold coin will be donated to the McGrath Foundation, while Donovan Real Estate will donate $50 for each six hit during the match.

At the conclusion, St Kilda’s new Principal Partner Dare Iced Coffee will announce its man of the match.

The format will be 20 overs per side split into quarters 10 overs at a time, with the first ball due to be bowled at 5.30pm.

The match will be broadcast on local radio station 3RPP 98.7.
