VETERAN defender Sam Fisher will celebrate his 200th AFL game this weekend when St Kilda takes on Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium on Saturday night.

The two-time Trevor Barker Medallist has averaged 10 games a season in the past three years, recovering from a series of injuries that saw him miss 14 months of football.

After stringing together seven games at the end of last year, Fisher has put his toe and hamstring niggles behind him and has entered 2015 with a clean bill of health.

If selected this weekend, Fisher will be joined by Maverick Weller and Luke Delaney in recording a milestone on the Gold Coast, with both notching their 50th AFL games after crossing from the Suns and North Melbourne respectively in 2013.

After being declared fit for round two, Nick Riewoldt is also expected to make his mark in the history books as he takes to the field for the 184th time as captain, which will draw him level with Wayne Carey and put him in sixth position for most games as club captain.
