ST KILDA has made one late change to its team ahead of tonight’s round two match against Gold Coast.

Adam Schneider is out (soreness) and has been replaced by Nathan Wright, who will be the sub.

Alan Richardson said Wright’s inclusion will give the team a hard edge after the defender missed last Sunday’s season opener with a groin injury.

“Wrighty is capable of playing as a small and aggressive defender,” Richardson told SAINTS.com.au.

“He has trained strongly now for a couple of weeks having had a really good pre-season. We think he is in good shape.

“He’ll come in and potentially play a little bit of midfield, but it is more likely that he will play small defender.”

Wright’s 2014 campaign was riddled by injuries, playing just four senior matches for the season.

In other team news, Luke Dunstan, Tom Curren and second-gamer Jack Sinclair will join Wright on the bench.
