A draw? Although there are no winners in a draw… Nick Riewoldt (FWD, $519,000) was a winner on the day, leading the Saints with 114pts and took 10 marks. Jack Steven (MID, $543,000) had 26 touches for his 102pts and Seb Ross (MID, $342,000) had his best game for the year, clocking up 92pts.

My boy… Jason Holmes (RUC, $136,000) had his first run for the year and played a great game. He dominated the ruck with a game high 34 hit outs and 7 possessions for his 60pts.

After scores of 90 and 91, Jarryn Geary (DEF, $418,000) played more defensive on the weekend with just 58pts. He still found the ball 18 times, but only had 2 marks and 3 tackles which dramatically effected his score.

ON THE RADAR

Sam Gilbert (DEF, $410,000) was my best pick to bring in last week, and this week I will be taking my own advice. He scored 97pts from 21 touches, 9 tackles and 2 goals backing up his pervious scores of 96 and 87. There are many under-performing premium defenders at the moment (Yeo is mine) and Gilbert is prime for the picking.

WHAT’S COMING UP

This week, the Saints host the Sydney Swans at Etihad on Sunday afternoon.

Jack Steven has scored 104 and 125 in his last two games against the Swans and should be considered as a captain option this week.

Preliminary finals are this week, so all the best for those who are still alive in their league matches.

Good luck!
