With a coaching resume to rival most, Peta Searle joined the Saints in 2014. After a ten-year playing career, Searle coached the Darebin Womens team to five premierships in only six years. From there she held positions at various clubs including the Western Jets, Port Melbourne and St Kevin’s.

Since joining St Kilda, Searle has held development coaching roles, however 2018 will see her in a newly created Head of Female Football Pathways role as the club establishes its first ever affiliated female team – the Southern Saints – in the VFLW competition.
