Sandringham secured second position with a 51-point win over the Casey Scorpions at Trevor Barker Beach Oval.
Comparatively, Williamstown also finished the VFL season well with a 12-point win over the Box Hill Hawks at Box Hill City oval.

Sandringham – Ahmed Saad
Saad is in good form for the Zebras, evidenced by eight goals over the last two weeks of the season. His importance in the VFL finals series cannot be understated, starting on Sunday against Williamstown where his tackling pressure and ability to create scoring opportunities critical in the end result.
Williamstown – Sam Dunell
Dunell played an important role for the Seagulls in their win over flag favourites Box Hill, gathering 16 disposals and kicking four goals. The former St Kilda-listed player has been an important part of Andy Collins’ side this year and will again play an important role on Sunday.
Conditions:
Trevor Barker Beach Oval is a long ground with lots of space on the wings to be taken advantage of, particularly in perfect conditions. The weather is forecast to be a rainy 17 degrees.
