Milestones

Jack Newnes – 50 consecutive matches

If selected, Jack Newnes will play his fiftieth consecutive match for St Kilda Football Club this Saturday against Melbourne. Newnes was taken at pick No. 37 in the 2011 National Draft and became the youngest member of the Saints leadership group when he was elevated in early 2015. The midfielder is yet to miss a match since Round 1, 2014.

 

Alan Richardson – 50 club matches coached

Senior Coach Alan Richardson will coach his fiftieth match for St Kilda Football Club this Saturday. After playing 114 games with Collingwood between 1987 and 1996, Richardson developed a wealth of experience in coaching roles at East Burwood, Coburg, Western Bulldogs, Collingwood, Essendon, Carlton and Port Adelaide football clubs. Having coached one match at Port Adelaide FC in Round 6, 2013, Richardson will coach his fiftieth match for the Saints since being appointed senior coach in November 2013.
