Sandringham registered their first win of the VFL season, a resounding 28-point win over Footscray in front of a home crowd at Trevor Barker Beach oval.

Conversely, Richmond went down to the Dolphins by 13-points at Frankston Park.

Sandringham – Tom Curren

St Kilda listed midfielder Curren was named in the best in last week’s win over Footscray, kicking three goals and gathering 32 disposals. The tough ball winner will again be critical up against the inside grunt of the Richmond midfield.

Richmond – Adam Marcon

First year Tiger Marcon has been a shining light at VFL level for some time, averaging 25 disposals a game, the best return to his career to date. Against Frankston he gathered 32 disposals and laid eight tackles, numbers he and the Tigers will be hoping to repeat against the Zebras.
