A limited edition range of Chuck Taylor All Star x Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision purple Converse sneakers, with a portion of the proceeds going to Maddie Riewoldt’s vision, is now available for purchase.

The Converse x Maddie’s Vision line features styles for the whole family. St Kilda players including Josh Bruce, Sam Gilbert, Jarryn Geary, Jack Billings, Jack Newnes and Tom Hickey have all been sporting the sneakers.

The #ConverseXMaddiesVision line will officially launch at the Converse store in Chadstone on Thursday night, but the whole range is now available online at converse.com.au/all-star/mrv

St Kilda Football Club CEO Matt Finnis said he has loved seeing the sneakers on his friends and family.

“The shoes are a really great reminder of the positive impact Maddie made in so many people’s lives and a tangible way to show your support for a very worthy cause,” Finnis said.

“It also ensures Maddie’s vision is continued and that we’re taking really positive steps in raising awareness of bone marrow failure, as well as valuable funds toward finding a cure.”

Make sure to get your limited edition Converse sneakers while stocks last and share your snaps on social media with the hashtags #wearefamily and #converseXmaddiesvision

The sneaker line is yet another initiative in a string of incredible programs raising money for MRV.

To coincide with the Saints’ trip to Albury for the JLT series, the local community recently raised more than $17,000 for MRV, with additional funds being raised through donations at the game.

Another notable date on the Saints’ calendar is the return in 2017 of Maddie’s Match, to be played against Richmond on Saturday 8 July at Etihad Stadium. This match will see cousins Nick and Jack Riewoldt come together to honour the legacy of Maddie and encourage others to #fightlikemaddie.
