Three Saints have been named in AFL Media’s Round 4 team of the week, following St Kilda’s second consecutive win against Collingwood last Sunday.

St Kilda Captain Jarryn Geary and versatile defender Dylan Roberton were named on the half-back flanks, while midfielder Seb Ross was included on the bench after being voted in as the fans’ pick.

As always, the numbers only told a portion of the story for Geary. The courageous backman helped carry his side to victory at Etihad Stadium with a handful of inspirational acts.

Roberton continued his brilliant start to the season with another blistering performance against the Magpies.

The former Docker racked up 32 disposals across half-back, along with 595 metres gained, 12 marks and six rebound 50s.

And after earning nine coaches votes – the most on the ground – Ross was also named in the side following his standout performance on Collingwood star Adam Treloar.

Not only did Ross nullify the midfield weapon, he also found plenty of leather, finishing with 36 possessions (12 contested), seven inside 50s and five clearances.
