Following the success of our 2016 Business & Sport Luncheon, we are pleased to announce our annual luncheon has returned. Promising to be even bigger in 2017, we will hear from AFL Chief Executive Officer Gillon McLachlan as he is interviewed by award winning journalist Damian Barrett. In true Damian style, no stone will be left unturned. Gillon will take us on a journey throughout the afternoon providing insight into his strategic direction as CEO and what he believes to be the game’s biggest challenges and victories over the next decade. While he has been at the helm, we have witnessed AFLW league come to fruition and AFL take ownership of Etihad Stadium – it’s no surprise he was voted #1 in the top 50 most influential people in footy.

In keeping with tradition, we will “BRING BACK THE PERSONALITIES IN SPORT” with a stellar panel of sports stars including Australian cricket’s #1 moustache Merv Hughes, NRL and State of Origin Legend Robbie Kearns and Richmond great Matthew Richardson. 

Hosted by triple Olympic swimmer Nicole Livingstone OAM, the Business & Sport Luncheon provides an opportunity for guests to network, create new contacts and be surrounded by some of Australia’s greatest sporting heroes.
