St Kilda midfielder Seb Ross is the only Saint to receive recognition from Alan Richardson and John Longmire following the 50-point loss to Sydney at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

Sydney midfielder Dan Hannebery earned a full allotment of coaches votes for his best on ground effort after he collected 30 possessions (11 contested), 12 marks, eight tackles and kicked two goals.

Game breaker Jake Lloyd (eight votes) and Swans skipper Josh Kennedy (six votes) were both rewarded for their telling performances, while small defenders Nic Newman (three votes) and Nick Smith (two votes) also featured in the votes.

Ross: We weren't quite up to scratch

Ross continued his stellar start to 2017, amassing an equal personal best 37 disposals, including 13 contested possessions, eight clearances, eight tackles and five inside 50s.

The 24-year-old’s solitary vote moves him away from Western Bulldogs star Marcus Bontempelli and equal with dual Brownlow medallist Gary Ablett in 6th position on 32 votes.

After nine rounds of 2017, Adelaide midfielder Rory Sloane (46 votes) has regained the lead in the coaches award, with his four votes against Brisbane taking him in front of West Coast young gun Elliot Yeo (43 votes).
