The name of Owen Deacon may not be well known to Saints fans of today, but he was man well regarded by all St Kilda players in our golden era in the 1960s and 1970s.

The passing of Owen Deacon deserves recognition from our club for the service he gave the Saints as our Medical Officer from 1965 to 1975.
