Emerging star Jack Billings might have finished Sunday with one eye shut, but it didn’t stop him producing another eye-catching performance that has earned him another spot in AFL Media’s team of the week.

The 21-year-old continued his emergence as a bona fide star at the MCG on Sunday.

While his radar was wayward against Melbourne, Billings was highly influential, amassing 30 disposals – his fourth haul of 30 this season – 13 score involvements (equal 5th most in Round 21), nine marks, six tackles and 1.3.

afl.com.au slotted Billings on a half-forward flank next to Geelong swingman Harry Taylor and Port Adelaide dual All-Australian Chad Wingard, a man Billings continues to draw comparisons to.

Demons forward Cameron Pederson, West Coast two-time Coleman Medallist Josh Kennedy and Brisbane livewire Lewis Taylor were also named inside 50 in the Round 21 team.

Billings has played all 20 games in his fourth season since being drafted with pick No. 3 in the 2013 National Draft.

He has averaged career highs for disposals (22.8), score involvements (8.4) contested possessions (7.6), marks (5.4) and inside 50s (4.0), to go with 20.32.
