St Kilda has enhanced it’s already strong draft position, securing Port Adelaide’s second round selection in this year’s AFL Draft (pick 34)

The Saints will now take picks 7,8, 34 and 45 to November’s draft.

In a late deal with Port Adelaide, the Saints acquired pick 34, Adelaide’s future fourth round selection in exchange for picks 59, 63 and St Kilda’s future second round selection.

St Kilda List Manager Tony Elshaug said the club was thrilled to have improved it’s draft position.

“To add a second round pick in this year’s draft gives us four picks inside the first 45 selections,” Elshaug said.

“To improve our already strong draft position after also picking up Logan Austin this morning to add to our key defensive stocks is really pleasing.”
