Nathan Freeman will miss the next three to four weeks after injuring his shoulder on Saturday.

The 22-year-old injured his AC joint in the first quarter of Sandringham's VFL clash against Richmond and sat out the remainder of the match.

Paddy McCartin and Jake Carlisle have passed preliminary tests after suffering concussion related symptoms, but will need get through training before pushing for selection.

Josh Bruce (back) continues to push for a return, while Nathan Brown (knee) strained his medial ligament and is expected to miss the next four weeks.

Blake Acres (groin) and Sam Gilbert (Thumb) are on track to return by the bye, while Ben Long will spend a further 8-10 weeks on the sideline.
