Alan Richardson has made four changes ahead of Saturday evening’s crucial clash with the Suns at Metricon Stadium.

Jake Carlisle has been among St Kilda’s best performers this year, dominating proceedings in the backline with his strong hands and ability to take intercept marks.

After serving a two-week ban, Carlisle comes back into the side to nullify the Suns’ main attacking threat in Tom Lynch and use his marking ability to set up from the back.

Jake Carlisle will make his return from suspension against the Suns.

Jack Billings has earnt an immediate senior recall after a monster showing in the VFL, racking up 53 possessions and booting three goals straight.

Billings has endured an inconsistent 2018 so far, but after finding form for the Zebras in the most spectacular fashion possible, the No. 3 pick will be hoping to explode back onto the AFL scene.

David Armitage has been lauded in recent weeks by Sandringham head coach Aaron Hamill for his resilience, leadership and hardness as an inside midfielder.

Now into his 12th year as a senior footballer, the 29-year-old’s wealth of knowledge and experience will be invaluable for the Saints around the stoppage.

Billy Longer played his best game so far this year for Sandringham, as the ruckman won the hit-outs 55-26 on Sunday and competed aggressively at ground level.

Longer hasn’t represented the Saints since the Round 2 loss to North Melbourne, and the 25-year-old big man will be hoping to replicate his recent Zebras form at Metricon Stadium.

Jack Lonie, Nick Coffield, Ed Phillips and Tom Hickey are the omissions for the Saints.
