Players to watch:

PORT MELBOURNE

Isaac Conway

The 19-year-old is having a stellar season after being recruited from the NEAFL in Queensland. Conway led the ‘Borough in tackles (12) in the loss to Geelong two weeks ago and will again be critical on Saturday.

Eli Templeton

The ex-St Kilda midfielder will face former teammates once again, and he continues to be a consistent performer in Gary Ayres’ midfield. The 23-year-old was Port’s second-best ball-winner against Geelong with 25 disposals and five tackles.

SANDRINGHAM

Josh Bruce

Saturday will be Bruce’s third VFL game since returning from a long layoff with injury, and the big man shapes as Sandringham’s key forward target. The 26-year-old kicked four goals and took six marks in the Zebras’ Round 10 win over Frankston, and they’ll need another big game from the St Kilda spearhead to beat the ‘Borough.

Nick Coffield

The first-year Saint will saddle up for his third VFL appearance for the season and will be one to watch given his talent, having averaged 23 disposals for Sandringham this year. The 18-year-old is blessed with tremendous speed and silky skills, adding value both off half-back and through the midfield, and he could prove to be the difference from stoppages.
