The Darebin Falcons (5th, 7-4) took their first top-four scalp last week when they beat Hawthorn by a slim four points. Jane Lange's team have now won their last two matches after a fortnight of losses to league-leaders Collingwood and the NT Thunder.

The Southern Saints (7th, 5-6) notched their fifth win last week when they overcame the Western Bulldogs by 31 points. The win broke a four-game losing streak, and Peta Searle's side will be determined to record back-to-back wins for the first time since Round 4.

DAREBIN

Elise O’Dea

The two-time AFLW All-Australian midfielder was at her rampant best in Darebin's win over Hawthorn. The Melbourne recruit finished with 28 disposals, eight marks and a goal to help the Falcons to a four-point win.

Meghan McDonald

The former AFLW Western Bulldogs player has had an excellent season in defence and last week was named best afield. McDonald's intercept marking was a key component to her performance, taking five marks to complement her 14 disposals.

Tara Bohanna

Bohanna was the star down forward last week. The 23-year-old kicked three goals and racked up 15 disposals, as well as a team-high nine tackles. The Saints forward now sits third in the league's overall goal-kicking tally with 14 majors this season.

Ali Brown

The Saints midfielder racked up a match-high 28 disposals against the Bulldogs last week and was particularly effective by hand after returning from injury.
