St Kilda has named a 34-man squad ahead of their Round 1 NAB Cup games against Sydney and Geelong at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.
Lenny Hayes has been named in his first squad since Round 2 of the 2011 Premiership season where the star midfielder sustained a season-ending knee injury.
Newly re-appointed Captain
Nick Riewoldt will lead the squad which includes 14 players who have played less than ten games for the Football Club.
Line-ups are trimmed from 34 to 22 ahead of each round-robin game, allowing for 18 players on the field, two interchange players and two substitutes. All 34 players named in the squad can be used over the course of the two matches.
Update (Feb 23): Rookie Tom Curren replaces Leigh Montagna in the selected squad.
