A composed rebounding defender, Roberton arrived at St Kilda as a delisted free agent from Fremantle in November 2012.
After 37 games across three seasons with the Dockers, Roberton played a further 20 in 2013, becoming one of St Kilda’s most pivotal defenders.
He topped the club’s rebound 50s but also held down a key defensive post for much of the year when the likes of Fisher, Gilbert and Gwilt were injured.
With Luke Delaney and Josh Bruce arriving at St Kilda in the summer, Roberton is likely to be released further afield in 2014 with his ability to read the play one of his prime assets.
A rangy, rebounding defender, Roberton requested a trade from Fremantle at the conclusion of 2012 season, eventually joining the Saints as a ‘delisted free agent’ in November.
Originally from Frankston, Roberton played 37 games over three years for the Dockers and has finals experience.
His frame is still developing, but given his height and adaptability, Roberton shapes as a valuable addition in 2013 for St Kilda.
A defender who can play offensively or lockdown roles, Roberton arrived at St Kilda prior to the 2013 season.
Having struggled with an ankle injury throughout 2014, the elusive defender will be committed to returning to the form that saw him play 20 matches in his first year at the club.

Dylan probably didn’t reach the heights of 2013 after an ankle operation. He did improve as the year progressed however, and ended up playing seven games. He’s a very smart player and hopefully another summer on the track without any ankle issues will set him up for a big 2015.
