A quintessential, dynamic forward-pocket, Milne was drafted by St Kilda in the 1999 Rookie Draft, and was elevated to the senior list for the 2000 season.

In 2012, Milne was the AFL’s premier small forward, belying his veteran status in kicking 56 goals and earning his second all-Australian selection in two years.

Early in the year he booted his 500th AFL goal, and now sits 4th amongst the elite St Kilda goal kickers of all time.

A mentor to Milera and Saad, Milne has led the Saints goal-kicking for the past three seasons and is as lively as ever.

Stephen was originally drafted by St Kilda in the 1999 Rookie Draft, and elevated to the senior side after only one year.

The 32-year-old, who as well as playing football would like to be remembered for his humour, is revered by many as the most accomplished small forward in the League.

Despite kicking more goals in previous years, 2011 was potentially Stephen’s most accomplished season after breaking the Etihad Stadium record for the most goals at the venue (he kicked his 300th against Collingwood during round 21).
