Had the most discussed hamstring in the competition last year after tearing it in round three and missing the next 11 weeks. Returned for round 15 but took a few weeks before Saints fans saw him back to his best and that came in round 20 when he kicked seven goals against North Melbourne. Despite missing all that time, still took the second most contested marks for the Club. Received the Robert Harvey ‘Most Professional Player’ award for his diligence in recovering from the injury.
