Josh Battle has been ruled out of Friday night’s clash with the Bombers as he recovers from a concussion sustained on Saturday night.

The promising 19-year-old is hoping for a speedy recovery, and Head Physiotherapist Andrew Wallis suggested he should only miss one-two weeks.

Brandon White (hip flexor) and Mav Weller (hamstring) have recovered well from their respective injuries, and if they get through Wednesday’s main training session, they’ll be available for selection.

Nathan Wright (knee) is now only one week away from a return to football, while both Tom Hickey and Shane Savage’s hamstring woes will see the pair sidelined for the final three games.

Billy Longer (ankle) underwent surgery last week, while Dylan Roberton (heart) has started running again and will be put through his paces in his first training session next week.

Paddy McCartin (foot) and Josh Bruce (fibular) remain on the long-term injury list.
