Several Saints will be out to impress in the VFL this weekend when Sandringham travels to Victoria Park to tackle Collingwood in the last round of the season.

ALL THE DETAILS

Where: Victoria Park, Collingwood

When: Saturday, 25 August

Time: 11am

Conditions: Sunshine and a top of 17 degrees is forecast.

Form guide:

Sandringham (13th, 5-11-1) won’t play finals but will be intent on finishing 2018 with a strong display after a fifth consecutive loss last week, a 34-point defeat to the Northern Blues at Preston City Oval. Coach Aaron Hamill's sole focus will be for his Zebras to get back to their trademark high-pressure brand of football.

Collingwood (5th, 11-6) continue to knock on the door of the top four and were scintillating in their 127-point demolition of Frankston last round. A win against the Zebras could ensure a top-four finish depending on other results.

Players to watch:

COLLINGWOOD

Alex Fasolo

The 26-year-old Magpie wound back the clock with five goals from seven shots against the Dolphins last round, laying five tackles as the premier small forward on the ground.

Ben Crocker

The 21-year-old brother of ex-Saint Sam was another Magpie to impress in the big win at Victoria Park last weekend, kicking two majors and taking seven marks to give Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley selection options.

SANDRINGHAM

Luke Dunstan

The 23-year-old Saint was prolific in torrential conditions at Cramer St last round, the midfielder picking up 33 disposals and laying eight tackles against a Northern Blues midfield that excelled in the scrap.

Mav Weller

The experienced Saint was among the best for the Zebras last week, kicking a goal among his 21 disposals and six tackles. The 26-year-old of 121 AFL games brings a physical presence and leadership to the young Sandringham outfit.
