Injury Update: Round 9

RD 9 | Injury Report Saints Physiotherapist Andrew Wallis takes a look through the Saints' injury list.

There's exciting news for three injured Saints, with Dan Hannebery, Jarryn Geary and Jake Carlisle now all out on the track.

Hannebery will join parts of main training this week, while Geary and Carlisle have started running again.

Saints Physiotherapist Andrew Wallis shared the latest on Hannebery's progress.

"The plan is (for Dan) to play in 3-4 weeks," said Wallis.

"Dan’s been running really consistently, which is what we’ve been aiming for, so it’ll be great to hopefully see him playing soon."

As for the skipper, Wallis explained that the focus would remain on letting his incision heal while he builds up his strength again.

"It's looking like Gears will be available in 3-4 weeks," he said.

Jack Lonie is now back in the gym after succesful knee surgery, while Logan Austin is out of his sling this week as he recovers from shoulder surgery.

Paddy McCartin is still symptomatic from the head knock he received in the JLT series with a timeframe on his return yet to be determined.

In exciting news, Jack Bytel is running again with an aim of joining main training in August.
