St Kilda Football Club is excited to announce an expansion of the club’s partnership with residential developer AVJennings.

The club’s current ball sponsor in the men’s competition is also coming on board to support the Saints’ inaugural AFLW side.

St Kilda General Manager of Commercial Chris Larkins said AVJennings was an important partner of the club and had been for several years.

“AVJennings is an iconic name in Australian housing and, like the Saints, they believe in developing diverse communities,” Larkins said.

“As soon as St Kilda was granted entry into the AFLW competition, they wanted to be on board.”

“They are already partners with the Melbourne Boomers in the Women’s National Basketball League and the Queensland Firebirds in the Super Netball competition and supporting the Saints’ AFLW side further strengthens their support for women’s sport.

AVJennings National Marketing Manager Donna Elayadi said the Company was delighted to expand its partnership with the Saints.

“So much of what we do is about aspiration. We provide people with the opportunity to realise their dream of living in a home of their own and it’s that sense of aspiration that motivated us to support the St Kilda AFLW side,” Ms Elayadi said.

“We believe girls and young women who aspire to play sport at the highest level should have the same opportunities as their male counterparts to do so. That’s why we couldn’t be happier to be supporting St Kilda’s first AFLW side.”
