After holding the position of St Kilda’s midfield coach last season, Brendon Lade will take the mantle of Senior Assistant Coach (Forward line and Team Offence) from Brett Ratten moving into 2020.

Lade joined the Saints in 2019 alongside Ratten, bringing with him an abundance of experience from his time as a Senior Assistant Coach of Richmond and Port Adelaide.

His playing career for the Power was just as successful, complete with 234 games, two All Australians, one best-and-fairest and Premiership honours in 2004.

Known for kicking a fair few goals in his time as an elite ruckman, Lade will be keen to bolster Paddy Ryder and Rowan Marshall’s potency deep in attack, along with the rest of St Kilda’s forward armada.
