Armed with an eye for statistics and analysis, Robbie Chancellor will provide a unique edge to St Kilda’s coaching panel in 2020.

Now going into his ninth year at the Saints, Chancellor will assume the role of Assistant Coach (Stoppages and Structures) and Assistant Development Coach.

Chancellor made the transition from analysis to coaching when he first arrived at the Saints in 2012, taking charge of opposition strategy last season.

After spending time as an analyst at Hawthorn in their Premiership year of 2008, the experienced specialist honed his skills at Melbourne as the scope for football technology grew.

With the ability to dissect the opposition and crunch the numbers, the Saints will be hoping to employ Chancellor’s knowledge in their set-ups this season.
