Fresh from banking its maiden win of the season, Sandringham will look to make it two on the trot against Aspley on Saturday afternoon.

Jake Batchelor's men gritted their teeth towards a nine-point win last weekend, holding onto their slender lead as Williamstown pressed its final charge.

AFL-listed Saints Shaun McKernan, Mason Wood, Luke Dunstan and Paul Hunter have stood tall in recent outings, with the quartet combining for eight goals last weekend.

Aspley fell to Southport last week by a whopping 109 points, with the Sharks' Mitch Johnson bagging 10 goals to put the result beyond doubt.

Meanwhile, the Southern Saints will be fixed on returning the winners list this Sunday after falling short to Geelong last weekend.

Dale Robinson's side managed to keep the Cats goalless up until the last term, before their fast-finishing opposition kicked four unanswered in the last quarter to seal the win.

Saints Alice Burke and Claudia Whitfort have been standouts in recent weeks, while Tara Bohanna has been more than handy in front of goal.

The Bulldogs have emerged victorious in four of their past five outings, overcoming the Bombers at Windy Hill by three goals last Saturday.
