An exciting and agile key forward, White was selected with pick No.25 in the 2012 National Draft and showed glimpses of great talent in the VFL last year.
He opted to undergo wrist surgery in August in order to be fit for the pre-season and is expected to greatly benefit from another summer on the track.
White is a gifted but raw key position player with exceptional athleticism and a keen eye for goal.
A tall forward with an exceptional leap and great marking ability, White came to St Kilda via pick number 25 in the 2012 AFL National Draft.
White is a fantastic athlete, and played in defence and as a marking forward in the 2012 TAC Cup.

After overcoming a variety of frustrating injuries in the first half of 2014, White hit form in last two months of the season and booted three goals in his AFL debut against Richmond in round 22.
The occasion didn’t overawe the gifted key position player, and given he continues to develop his running capacity, White looks to be improving after starting in 2014.

2014 coaches’ perspective – Aaron Hamill (forwards coach)
Spencer debuted in round 22, which was great to see. He’s a second year full-forward, which is a difficult position to play, but he’s learning and coming along well. Hopefully he has a really good taste of it now so we’d like to think that the 2014/15 pre-season will be a really significant one for him as he increases his aerobic capacity. His defensive side of the game is a heavy focus for us.
