Two key Saints will seek to return to the field this week, with Zaine Cordy and Liam Stocker both listed as a test to play this weekend.
Cordy will be looking to put his hand up to play his first game in over three months following a hefty rehabilitation after Pectoral surgery in April.
“Zaine has done a mountain of work to get his body in this position after suffering a pretty significant tear earlier in the year,” EGM Football David Misson said.
“Zaine’s focus and professionalism has been a credit to his character and we’re very pleased to see him close to making a comeback.”
Jimmy Webster is set to spend to spend the next four to five weeks on the sidelines with a moderate grade calf strain
The veteran defender was subbed out in the second quarter in Saturday night’s clash against the Hawks, with scans later revealing the severity of the injury.
“This is really unfortunate news for Jimmy who has been such a consistent and solid contributor to the team this season,” Misson said.
“A seasoned professional in his 14th year, we’re all behind Jimmy as he enters this phase of rehab.”
Meanwhile, Mattaes Phillipou has continued to show positive signs in his respective rehabilitation program.
