Paddy Dow will make his debut in red, yellow and black this weekend as Euro-Yroke takes to the Saturday night stage to face Walyalup as part of the opening week Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
The 24-year-old inside midfielder has had a delayed start to life at his new club with bone bruising to his knee holding him out of action since early February, but has since built his way back into the selection frame following a three-week stint in the VFL.
Dow arrived at the Saints during last year's AFL Trade Period as part of a four-way trade involving Carlton, Essendon and the Western Bulldogs.
Originally taken at pick No. 3 at the 2017 National Draft, Dow lined up for 73 matches for Carlton across six seasons, earning a Rising Star nomination and Carlton's Best First-Year Player Award in his maiden campaign.
Dow will be the 1646th player to represent the club at AFL level and the seventh new player of the year after Liam Henry (club debut), Riley Bonner (club debut), Darcy Wilson, Lance Collard, Angus Hastie and Hugo Garcia.
