St Kilda has named its extended squad ahead of Sunday's match against Adelaide at Norwood Oval.

The Saints will look to win their first ever final in the do-or-die clash, aiming for a response after last week's loss at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Paige Trudgeon has been named on the field to return to the lineup, after she was a late out in Round 12. Nicola Barr, who was also a late out, has been named on the extended bench as she puts her hand up to play her first final.

Inaugural Saint Liv Vesely has been named on the extended bench in her bid to return to the side for first time since Round 3 after recovering from a calf injury.

The Saints will make at least one change, with Arianna Clarke (omitted) out of the extended squad.

The final team will be announced at 5:00pm AEST on Friday.

The game will be played at 3:05pm AEST on Sunday, and will be broadcast live on Channel 7, Fox Footy and Kayo.
