ST KILDA youngster Nathan Wright is expected to be sidelined for 1-2 weeks after fracturing his jaw on Monday night.

The 19-year-old was subbed off during the third quarter and replaced by debutant Jimmy Webster.

He had surgery on Tuesday evening to stabilise the injury.

Wright has been impressive in his first five games of AFL football after debuting against GWS in round three, averaging 12.2 disposals per game as a hard-running back-flanker.
