19-year-old forward Darren Minchington has been elevated to the senior list today.

The lively goal-kicker was taken at pick 65 in the 2012 AFL Rookie Draft, and has impressed onlookers with his dash and flair for Sandringham his season.

Minchington replaces the injured Jackson Ferguson, who had previously replaced Daniel Markworth on the St Kilda senior list.

In a show of faith from the Saints' coaching staff, he is St Kilda’s eighth debutant and 11th new player in 2013, exemplifying the transition phase the club is going through at the moment.

Minchington was drafted from the Dandenong Stingrays. He weighs in at 82 kilograms and is 179 centimetres tall.
