DEFENDER Nathan Wright has been placed on St Kilda’s long-term injury list, with the club yet to decide whether another rookie will be upgraded to the senior list.

Scans confirmed last week that Wright suffered a broken fibula during the match against Adelaide at Etihad Stadium in Round 4.

The 20-year-old is anticipated to miss 10 – 12 weeks after undergoing surgery last week.

Explosive small forward Eli Templeton is the only rookie to be elevated to St Kilda’s senior list this season, replacing Lewis Pierce who is still recovering from a back injury.

Cameron Shenton, Darren Minchington, Maverick Weller and US recruit Jason Holmes are the remaining rookie-listed players.
