ST KILDA youngsters Jimmy Webster and Seb Ross have accepted fines for their part in a melee that took place near the interchange bench on Saturday against Richmond.

Webster, a young left footer with 22 AFL games under his belt, has copped the most severe penalty - $1800 for starting the fracas and a further $1200 for participating in it.

Ross, who has played 22 games since debuting late in 2012, was fined $1600 but has escaped with a $1200 penalty due to an early plea.

The two Richmond players involved, Dustin Martin and Anthony Miles, were also fined.
