ST KILDA supporters will be able to see the club’s newest recruits in action at the annual intra club match on Saturday 21 February.

The players will take to the field in their first proper hit-out of the year to test out their pre-season form at Linen House Centre.

Senior Coach Alan Richardson said the game will showcase the work the players have put in over the summer, and allow fans to see their favourite stars up close and personal.

“It’s a great opportunity for Saints fans to come along and get a snapshot of the work the guys have been doing following on from our pre-season camp in Queenstown and see our new recruits from the draft and players like Ahmed Saad and Tim Membrey,” Richardson told SAINTS.com.au.

“From a coaching point of view it’s a great chance to see how guys go in respect to the work we’ve been doing all summer; what we do with the ball and the game plan.  It’s also an opportunity for players to stake their claim in the team the following week against Brisbane.”

A signing session will be held on the boundary line post-game, a children’s clinic will also operate on the day from 10am.

Food trucks will be on site and a sausage sizzle will be run by St Kilda’s social club while coffee vendors will be available.

Saints Locker merchandise will be open for business to purchase all your Saints gear.

Supporters are reminded there is limited parking available on site.
