ST KILDA has made four changes to the squad that was named to take on Brisbane last weekend, welcoming back Tom Hickey and Luke Dunstan from injury, and including Nathan Wright and Darren Minchington.

A squad of 29 players will travel to Morwell on Saturday, before the list is shaved to 27 (including one sub) 45 minutes prior to the game against Essendon. 

Each of the four omissions are forced, with Jack Billings, Dylan Roberton, Farren Ray and Shane Savage sustaining hamstring injuries.

Number 21 Draft pick Hugh Goddard and rookie Jack Sinclair have been named in the squad for the second straight week. Neither played against the Lions last week but are both chances to be included for their St Kilda debuts. 

It is Hickey's potential return, alongside one or both of Jason Holmes and Billy Longer, that will excite the Saints faithful most.

The left footer hasn't played since round 17 last year and has played just one game since Anzac Day 2014. But following surgery on his troublesome knee in London, Hickey has regained his fitness and looks ready to re-assume the club's number one ruck mantle.

Wright managed just seven senior games in 2014 and is a chance to play, as is Darren Minchington, who was elevated to the senior list in September following three years on the rookie list.

Minchington, 21, has played five AFL games since his debut against the Hawks in 2013, booting a total of six goals. 

Dunstan has resumed full training following a minor ankle injury and has been passed fit to play.
